Early Years Foundation Stage


We record all childrens achievements as individuals through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is the curriculum used from birth right throught to and including the first year of primary school.

We record and celebrate achievements by making written and observations and charting
these through each area of learning. This helps us to understand each child's strengths and preferences as an individual and plan for what we can do to develop their skills and knowledge.

The EYFS has three 'Prime Areas' and four 'Specfic Areas':
