Opening Hours and Fees

A maximum of 20 children may attend the pre-school at any one time. Sessions are available during term times only and run Monday to Friday 9.00am -12.00pm and Monday to Friday afternoon 12.30pm - 3.30pm. Morning and afternoon sessions can be joined with a lunch club session (please see below) to offer full a day session,  9.00am to 3.30pm. Doors open 15 minutes before the start of sessions to allow parents/carers time to settle their children, share some play, speak to staff and other parents/carers and view their child’s individual ‘Learning Journey’ file.

Everyday we run a lunch club between 1200 and 1230, where the children eat a packed lunch they have brought with them. This allows children to practice this activity in preparation for primary school.

Fees:
Morning Session - 0900 - 1200 = £6.50
Lunch Club - 1200 - 1230 = £1.00
Afternoon Session 1230 - 1530 = £6.50
Full Day - 0900 - 1530 = £14.00

The fees are payable monthly in advance. Children receive funding for 15 hours per week the term after their third birthday. Two year olds are eligible for funding under certain criteria. If you receive Working Family Tax Credits you may be entitled to financial support with fees. We accept a variety of childcare vouchers and schemes.

Fees must still be paid if children are absent without notice for a short period of time. If your child has to be absent over a long period of time, talk to Rebecca Stephens who is the financial administrator or Sarah O’Toole who is the pre-school manager.

For your child to keep her/his place at the setting, you must pay the fees. We are in receipt of nursery education funding for three and four year olds; where funding is not received, then fees apply.
